11μm2 픽셀의 피치를 이용하여 KURO 는 기존 CMOS 보다 2.8배 더 많은 광자를 포착합니다. 
각 픽셀은 또한 80,000개의 일렉트론으로 이루어진 large full well을 처리할 수 있어 우수한 동적 범위를 허용합니다.
